The American Dollar is an American post rock/ambient band, formed in 2005 in Queens, New York.[1] The band consists of drummer John Emanuele and guitarist Richard Cupolo. They have released four studio albums. Their debut self-titled effort was released in 2006.[2] A Memory Stream, the band's third full-length, was issued in 2008.[3][4] Their latest album, entitled Atlas, was released by Yesh Music on January 1, 2010.[5][6][7][8] The band has toured America and Canada, and played shows in Russia, with plans to tour a wider swath of the world in 2012. The American Dollar's fifth full length album will be released in early 2012.
